Boot Obessions at Fit

 Shoe Obessions at Suit Essay

The New York's Art gallery at FIT recently managed the exhibit " Sneaker Obsession. ” The display highlighted the 21st century designers who have designed both stylish and unrealistic shoes.

Upon jogging in, you are surfaced with approximately 150 shoes and boots. The shoes, arranged by style and custom made, are shown in illuminated glass cases and act as the points of interest. All shoes are samples of some of the most serious and desired footwear from notable designers such as, Manolo Blahnik, Christian Louboutin, Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaia, and Prada. My top features were the 2011 Nicholas Kirkwood's in collaboration with Keith Haring. The had Keith Haring's notorious man holding a delightful bright blue shoe. My spouse and i also liked the traditional shoes, such as Manolo Blahnik's 2013 silver pumps together with the silver amazingly circle. In my experience, the most outlandish shoes had been the 2007 Christian Louboutin " fetish ballerina. ” These people were truly a masterpiece of design, rather than a straightforward shoe.

I think the " Sneaker Obsession” Event is a great thought because it examines our culture's ever-growing desire for extravagant and trendy shoes. They also did a great job of displaying new principles, different buildings, and elements in which shoes and boots can be worn in. Shoes have emerged like a modern fashion phenomenon over the last century and evolved to turn into a staple in the fashionable woman's wardrobe. Accessories used to become secondary to clothing styles. Today, nevertheless , shoes would be the main fashion story. They may have even, substituted bags as the most desirable equipment.

Upon browsing exhibition, We realized trend is not only what individuals use, but it is actually a way to portray individuality and style. It is also wearable skill that shows how the society has evolved through the years. Shoe styles alter as years go by, and our requires and would like change as well. The...
