The similarities and differences between advantage theory, utilitarianism, and deontological ethics will be defined with this paper. Within the paper the description of differences in the theory when the theory addresses ethics and morals has. An experience to describe the relationship between virtue, beliefs, and meaning concepts in which relates to the idea is given as well.
Virtue theory is the way of ethics through which expresses the good character an individual is or is usually not (Garett, 2005). The trait in which the person presents is based on good, bad, or a disposition of both. However , traits are certainly not something you happen to be born with but are attained through existence based on moral virtues. The act dedicated, uses advantage ethics to determine the right or wrong in the action depending on character (Garett, 2005). Advantage ethics emphasis more within the person and not the action (Garett, 2005).
Utilitarianism is the approach to ethics that concentrate on choosing the take action that has the very best consequences (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2011). The functional will look at all the good and bad produced by the act (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2011). Utilitarian's tend not to view the big difference in chosen act based as ethical issues. Acts are grouped as morally right or wrong only when the actions has consequences that have an outcome that has a favored manner (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2011). Utilitarianism targets the do something about the individual performing the action. Utilitarianism simply addresses values if the work is the recommended action but if not, morality does not play a role in basing decisions (Encyclopedia Britannica, 2011). Ethics is definitely not looked at in utilitarianism as well mainly because decisions depend on best final result for the person.
