Goal

The Company HURUF Chemical provides asked our group to investigate the gas production from a number of several chemical reactions. The corporation would like all of us to gauge the amount of product we get when we gauge the amount of gas from two reactions. We will then compare each of our data towards the predicted volume which will all of us will determine based in the Law of conservation of Mass and Ideal Gas Laws.

Procedure

Record the Temp and convert into K

Determine the volume of the Flask and Tygon Tubing you'll be using Hook up the Pressure sensor for the GLX Machine and then hook up the Tygon Tubing to the Pressure Messfuhler. Weigh the Mass in the Mg Bows and The CaCo3 and cover it into a Kim Wipe. You should weigh out 0. several g of Mg and 0. a few g of CaCO3 Put at least 16mL of just one. 0 Meters HCl for the Erlenmeyer Flask. More than 16 mL will be better. Contain the flask side by side and place Kim Wipe with your solid twisted inside the neck of the guitar of the flask. Put the stopper in place and commence the GLX Machine. After 10 seconds tilt the flask in upright position. Stir the flask and products inside and keep hands over the stopper to prevent the stopper from popping away. Once the gas stays for a steady level or declines, stop the GLX Machine Data
